I don’t know if you guys know this, but I’m a big fan of tattoos.
I’ve never really talked much about the tattoos I have, although my Instagram peeps probably will have spotted them! However, I recently saw a post in a Facebook group I’m a part of asking if tattoos are minimalistic.
There were some mixed responses, but one I spotted and that really resonated with me was: Tattoos are something that take up no space and are memories you never forget.
I kind of love that.
Everyone has different opinions on tattoos: some people love mine, some people give me a polite look that I know means what the hell was you thinking?! ? but I think as long as you’re happy in your own choices, that’s all that matters.
Recently, minimalist tattoos are gaining in popularity. Those dainty, little works of art that are so simple, so cute, and so lovely to look at. Without a doubt, one of my favourite styles at the moment are clean, delicate lines for the perfect pretty, minimalist tattoo – my own tattoos are a little ‘louder’ than the designs below, but don’t you worry – I’ve got plans!
If you’ve been looking for some inspiration for your next minimalist tattoo (or if this post has sparked some curiosity in you!), check out some of my favourites from around the web.
Whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth, you can’t go wrong with one of these gorgeous tats for an elegant, subtle piece of body art.

And here’s my latest tattoo – not really the ‘minimalist’ trend – but I love it!

I love the heart! I don’t have any tattoos and I never thought I would want one. Over the years I’ve joked about wanting one and I think at some point I do want to get one! Some day I’ll make my husband go with me and we’ll each get one together (he doesn’t have a desire to get one, haha)
